Ecology Of Angthong Marine park

The sea around Mu Ko Ang Thong is about 10 m. in deep. Since the archipelago is located near the mainland, it receives sediment contamination from the Tapee river. Sunlight cannot thoroughly penetrate the waters, which is a limiting factor in the control of photosynthetic life such as, corals and other underwater plants. However any other marine creatures are adapted to this environment, and they still live forage, shelter and breed here.

Weather Forecast

Tours are only cancelled due to weather conditions if it will affect the safety of our customers. Rain without the presence of strong winds or big waves will not result in cancellation as this does not affect the snorkeling, sightseeing, scuba diving or chartering conditions. Our team monitors sea conditions daily and will always prioritize your safety. If we operate the tour, conditions are safe and appropriate.

If sea conditions prevent us from running the tour, we will reschedule or refund in full. Please contact us before assuming cancellation is necessary — weather at your hotel often differs from conditions at the park.
